ECO is an inclusive organisation that provides opportunity and support for those at risk of social exclusion and capable of anti-social behaviour. Key to our organisation is active citizenship through effecting positive change using experiential and peer educational interactions within a non-formal environment. Eden Community Outdoors’ principal aims and objectives are: - To support and work alongside young people to develop the self-belief and skills necessary to instigate and effect positive change in their own lives, in the community, employability and on a wider level; - To build environmental, social and economic sustainability into all of the work we do; - To provide the space, support, resources, encouragement, training and opportunities for personal and community development; To nurture co-operation, integrity, equality, inclusiveness and tolerance and to promote the value of local communities and young people’s place within them.
