TFM Radio & Magic 1170's Cash for Kids is the NEW name for Make a Child Smile.
The aim is to raise funds for a longer term difference to the lives of children aged 0 - 17 years within Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and South County Durham.
The beneficiaries include children who are sick, underprivileged or have some kind of special need. The charity is unique in that it can also fund other children's charities or other charitable projects - not just individuals.
The charity is now in it's 13th year of operation helping thousands of loacl children, Last year the charity raised funds of just over £439,000, supporting over 7000 children. This has a fantastic effect on our local children as each year more children can be supported. Normally the charity recieves requests from children that can not access funding elsewhere and is often the last resort.
